null EUniWell PhD Workshop 2023 at UMU ‐ Call for Papers

EIDUM EUniWell Wrokshop

The International Graduate School of the University of Murcia (EIDUM) organizes the First EUniWell PhD Workshop on June 26th‐28th. The objective is to bring together PhD students and young scholars to present ongoing projects and exchange ideas in any of the EUniWell research areas.

The workshop will be celebrated as a satellite event within the 8th Doctoral Students Conference of the University of Murcia, Technical University of Cartagena and Campus Mare Nostrum in the form of four special sessions on Well‐being and Health (Arena 1), Individual & Social Well‐being (Arena 2), Environment, Urbanity and Well‐being (Arena 3) and Teacher Education (Arena 4).

For local students participating in general sessions, the conference will be onsite. For EUniWell students, their participation in the Workshop thematic panel(s) will be online, with each presentation followed by a discussion by a senior scholar fostering debate, lasting a total of 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion).

The official language at EUniWell special sessions is English and participation is free for students from the Alliance.

The workshop includes the following keynote lectures:

  1. Álvaro Enrique Albacete Perea (Ambassador and General Secretary for the Mediterranean Union): Morning 26th June
  2. Gotzone Barandika (Head of the Association of Spanish Doctorate Schools): Evening 26th June
  3. Antonio Paez (McMaster University, Canada): Morning 27th June
  4. Alexander Hasgall (Head of the EUA Council for Doctoral Education): Afternoon 27th June
  5. Kseniia Smyrnova (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukrania): Afternoon 28th June

Dates

Submission of proposals is opened from 20th March till 25th May 2023

Registration is opened from 20th March till 15th June 2023

If you are a PhD student of one of our partners in the EUniWell Alliance and are interested in presenting your work at this event for one of the four Arenas, you may submit your abstract following the timing below:

  1. Submission of abstracts (800 words in English): until May 25th, through this application (see instructions): www.conftool.pro/jornadas‐doctorales‐2023/index.php?page=login
  2. Acceptance of proposals submitted: 15 June
  3. Participation in the Conference: 26th to 28th June
