Our research projects on Twentieth-century Shakespeare stem from the belief that there is an unexplored niche in Shakespeare Studies. Unlike Victorian Shakespeare or Eighteenth-Century Shakespeare, both long-established fields of study, Twentieth-Century Shakespeare is an unexplored area which stands in need of being categorised and conceptualised.
