In view of the situation generated by the pandemic produced by the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, and after the press release of the authorities of the Region of Murcia and the Rectorate of the University of Murcia, we would like to inform the PDI and PAS participating in programs of international mobility that the in-office labor activity in the University of Murcia is suspended from Monday 16 of March and until further notice. The reception of people from outside the UMU and the stays in other national and international university research centres are also restricted.

The University of Murcia recommends the following actions:

1. To postpone, to the extent possible, programmed activities. The current deadlines would be K103, 30 June 2020 and K107, 31 July 2020. SEPIE is negotiating with the European Commission an extension of these deadlines, and you will be informed as soon as we receive any news.
2. Regarding the financial support for the various mobilities, SEPIE (ERASMUS national agency) is currently consulting the European Commission in order to be able to justify the expenditure incurred as a result of the programmed mobilities. We are awaiting to obtain more detailed information, but it is recommended to keep all the supporting documentation of the expenses incurred, whether the mobility has been carried out or not.
