To mark the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of the Office for International and European Research Projects (Operum), the Universidad de Murcia, through its Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Research, invites the University community and general public to attend a series of events, especially interesting for those working in R&D&I at a European and International level.

The aim is to inform about the results obtained by the European and International Research Projects carried out at the Universidad de Murcia, as well as to provide the general public with a foresight on the different R&D&I initiatives under preparation in Europe.

In order to do so, these events will be attended by well known experts, both at national and European level. A wide variety of topics will be dealt with, such as, the 10th Anniversary of the European Research Council (ERC) and the future of Excellent Science, the opportunities for research infrastructures at a national and European level, the PRIMA Initiative and the expected development of Challenge 2 Bioeconomy of Horizon 2020, as well as the positioning of Spanish Universities in the 9th Framework Programme in preparation.

The last event of the week will mark the 10th Anniversary of Operum and there will also be a new edition of the “Researcher's Night” (related event) taking place at the University Square (La Merced Campus).
