IMPACT TD2 UMU

IMPACT T2D is a multi-centered project for Personalized Precision Medicine coordinated by the Centre of Regulation Genomic (CRG) focused on Type 2 Diabetes.

Project Goals

Type 2 Diabetes affects almost 14% of the Spanish adult population, and is one of theleading causes of mortality and health spending. IMPACT T2D project aims at obtaining complete genomes from a unique cohort of 1,000 patients with a T2D sub-phenotype that maximizes the genetic load. The project shall define partitioned PRSs and causal rare variants and use AI tools to develop models of stratification. Finally, it will develop mechanisms to implement this knowledge in the health system.

IMPACT TD2 UMU Goals

The UMU subproject focuses on the stratification of patients using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques and the development of multi-criteria algorithms for DT2 therapeutic recommendations.
