The webinar will cover all aspects of compiling a successful CV including: what to include (and what not to include); what translation companies are looking for in new freelance suppliers; and how to stand out from the crowd.
The webinar will last for approximately one hour and will consist of a presentation by Cate Avery lasting 40 minutes followed by a Question and Answer session.
Cate has been a German into English translator since 1986 and has operated freelance since 2000. She is the coordinator of ITI’s Professional Support Group (PSG) online course in business practice for freelance translators, which has been running since 2003.
This ITI webinar aims to help translators and interpreters new to the profession who wish to maximise their impact on the marketplace but will also be of interest to experienced translators and interpreters who wish to review and update their CVs.
