General Information

The 25th international AESLA conference will be held in Murcia, at the Faculty of Arts (La Merced Campus) from 19-21 April 2007.

Important Dates

- Proposals for papers, round tables or posters should be sent before 1^st December 2006 to the Chair of the appropriate panel (New deadline: January the 10th).

 

- Registration Fees vary as follows:

Registration

The registration form is already available on the conference webpage, where information on different hotel options can also be found.

Accommodation and Travel Planning:

Accomodation can be booked directly by phone or through the conference travel agency 'BCD Travel' by using the form available on the webpage. Notice the deadline for hotel reservation with the agency (3rd April 2007). All hotels are within walking distance of the conference venue; however, they are slightly far from the railway station (Murcia del Carmen), so it is advisable to take a taxi. If you are travelling by plane, Alicante airport (El Altet) is more convenient than San Javier (Murcia), although it is 45 km away from Murcia. A bus service links Alicante airport to Murcia.

Buses depart from dock number 30 in Alicante Airport. Tickets cost about 4 euros (single) and 7,50 euros (return). It is advisable to book tickets for this service in advance at the travel agency. Another option is to take a taxi at the airport, which may cost about 80 euros.

Social Programme: In addition to the conference dinner (about 45 euros), on the 20th of april, we are planning a trip to Murcia's outskirts. It would very useful to know in advance the number of people who are interested in the dinner as well as in this trip, so we would be grateful if you confirm your interest in the registration form. If you have any query about the conference, do not hesitate to contact any member of the organising committee.
