Un resumen de la charla: The C++ language is around for over 40 years. A lot of profound software libraries were written with its help, e.g. the latest platforms TensorFlow and PyTorch for training of the deep learning networks, easily available via the topmost Python framework, in their lower layers are written in C++.  However, in the last decade C++ has undergone an enormous refurbishment, not to say a revolution, which brought it into the top technological level among available programming languages. In this talk I’ll present an overview of these newest features of C++20 & 23, such as concepts, modules, ranges, co-routines and many more.

Boguslaw Cyganek is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Electronics, AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Poland. His teaching interests include computer vision, operating systems and software development in C++. His classes on C++ programming were attended by hundreds of students, some of them currently working as software engineers in various worldwide companies. His research interests include computer vision and pattern recognition, as well as the development of embedded systems. He has published over a hundred scientific papers, and he has been a presenter at many conferences. Prof. Boguslaw Cyganek is also the author of “Object Detection and Recognition in Digital Images: Theory and Practice” (published by Wiley in 2013), “Introduction to Programming with C++ for Engineers” (published by Wiley in 2020 and 2021 Wiley-IEEE Press Professional Book Award).
