EU4Health es la respuesta sanitaria de la UE a la COVID-19, que ha tenido importantes repercusiones para el personal médico y sanitario, los pacientes y los sistemas sanitarios en Europa. Con una inversión de 5,100M€, este programa se convertirá en el mayor programa sanitario de la historia en términos monetarios, EU4Health proporcionará financiación a los países de la UE, las organizaciones sanitarias y las ONG. La financiación se abrirá a las solicitudes en 2021.

Convocatorias 2021

La Comisión Europea publicó las convocatorias del Programa EU4Health, correspondientes al Programa de Trabajo 2021. 

Los 13 tópics abiertos ofrecen oportunidades de financiación en áreas como, por ejemplo, los datos sanitarios, estilos de vida saludables, infecciones, salud mental, cáncer, genómica,..

Estas convocatorias cuentan con un presupuesto de 43,85M€. El plazo de presentación de solicitudes finaliza el 25 de enero 2022. 

Las líneas de investigación son las siguientes (enlace F&T Portal CE): 

• Grant Action grants boosting cancer prevention through the use of the European Code against Cancer and other concerted actions
   
• Grant Action grants to organise and collect data to understand the safety, quality and efficacy of therapies applied in the field of assisted reproduction and based on haematopoietic stem cells
   
• Grant Action grants to support the implementation of best practices in community-based services for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections
   
• Grant Action grants supporting training activities, implementation, and best practices
   
• Grant Action grants for ‘Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment for All’ including ‘Genomic for Public Health’
   
• Grant Action grants for the Computer-aided Drug Repurposing for Cancer Therapy Project
   
• Grant Action grants for developing a pilot project for an EU infrastructure ecosystem for the secondary use of health data for research, policy-making and regulatory purposes
   
• Grant Action grants to support implementation of best practices on the ground with direct impact on the effort to tackle mental health challenges during COVID-19
   
• Grant Action grants to support actions to improve access to human papillomavirus vaccination
   
• Grant Action grants for the initiative ‘HealthyLifestyle4All’: promotion of healthy lifestyles
   
• Grant Action grants for ‘EU Cancer Treatment Capacity and Capability Mapping’ project - Network of Comprehensive Cancer Centres
   
• Grant Action grants to create a ‘Cancer Survivor Smart Card’
