Partners

This consortium consists of nine partners from four European countries (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Turkey), all of them in the south where the needs of reinforce English skills in our students are more necessary. We have technical partners and secondary schools in every country.

As external expert, we have the participation of Language Cert, as it is well known by their expertise on online exams in English.

Región de Murcia

The General Direction for Attention to Diversity and Educational Quality («Dirección General de Atención a la Diversidad y Calidad Educativa») belongs to the Regional Ministry of Education of the Region de Murcia (Spain). It has around 40 people working on different educative programmes and actions. It is in charge of bilingualism in regional schools, adult education, languages, sport education, music, European projects and support to students with special needs.

Instituto de Educación Secundaria La Flota

IES La Flota is a secondary public school specialized in ESO, BACHILLERATO and Vocational Training. It is a remarkable school in Bilingual, Plurilingual and British Council Education as well as Catering and Tourism studies. It is a school involved in a huge amount of educational programmes and Erasmus+ projects, such as Sports Project, Health Care project, Debates, etc. We have more than 1500 students and 125 teachers located in the Murcia city center.

 

Universidad de Murcia

The University of Murcia (UMU) is an international institution with over a hundred years behind it, although its origins can be traced back to the 12th century. Today, it is home to more than 30,000 students (2,000 of them from abroad), 3,000 researchers and lecturers, and an administration force counting 1,200. The UMU is an all-inclusive state university offering 60 degree qualifications – five of them dual degrees – 72 masters degrees and 36 PhD qualifications in Fine Arts and Humanities, Engineering, Health Sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences and Law. Located in south-east Spain, the city of Murcia is indeed well-placed. With almost half a million inhabitants it is the seventh largest city in Spain.

 

Grupo de Investigación en Tecnología Educativa (GITE)

The Research Group in Educational Technology (GITE) is a group of research based on the Department of Didactics and School Organization at the Faculty of Education of the University of Murcia, officially created on 1997. We are a group of researchers (most of us lecturers in the university) that love to explore the impact of technologies in learning, in formal and informal contexts, always from the pedagogical point of view. Nevertheless, apart from our normal cooperation with other colleagues from education, we collaborate as well with several technological researchers and developers, in order to enrich and complement our vision.

 

Casa do Professor

Casa do Professor (as “Teacher’s home”) is a social solidarity association,born on 14th February 1979, with public utility status since 1999. It supports teachers at all levels of education, by promoting socially-oriented initiatives, scientific training, cultural and recreational activities. In pursuing these goals, it offers a very diverse range of activities and services for the benefit of about 11,000 teachers, which added the respective immediate families. The area of operation of Casa do Professor does not focus solely on associates and in their professional lives, but also extends their personal and family considerations.

Agrupamento de Escolas de Amares

Agrupamento de Escolas de Amares was established in July 2012 and it is located in the village of Amares, 15 km from Braga and 56 km from Oporto, in a more rural than urban area. It is the only public educational institution in the county and is composed of eight establishments: The Secondary School of Amares, headquarters of the Cluster of schools, the Basic School and six Elementary Schools, dispersed by the county of Amares, with Pre-School Education (Kindergarten). The grouping is attended by about 2400 students distributed through pre-school, Basic School, Secondary school, vocational courses, scientific-humanistic courses and professional courses ofsecondary education and adult certification.

CESIE

CESIE is a non-profit, apolitical, and non-governmental organisation based in Palermo (Italy) and established in 2001. CESIE is committed to promote the cultural, social, educational and economic development at local, national, European and international levels. CESIE contributes to growth and development through the active participation of people, civil society and institutions, always valuing diversity. Inspired by the work of Danilo Dolci, we focus our work on the research of social needs and challenges and the use of innovative learning approaches. In this way, CESIE actively connects research with action through the use of formal and non-formal learning methodologies.

IS «Duca Abruzzi – Libero Grassi»

IS «Duca Abruzzi – Libero Grassi» is a high secondary school in the central part of Palermo. It’s situated in a calm quarter and it’s well served by public transport. The students are between 14 and 19 years old and the total number is about 800. The teachers are about 130. The students can choose among four different branches: Economic, for Tourism, Surveying, and Scientific. The students are very active and they are always ready to take part of different projects and non formal activities.

 

 

Adıyaman Milli Egitim Müdürlügü

(Directorate of Provincial National Education of Adiyaman) is responsible for 44 pre-primary schools, 456 primary schools and 200 lower secondary schools, 96 High schools, 35 Vocational Schools. 9588 staff is employed. We have 151810 students. The innovation center of the city of Adiyaman is unique across the country as a public body. Originally, the staff of the Research and Development Department of the City Educational Directorate works there. The staff consists of various experts in the fields of, all kinds of international projects are observed and supported in our center.

 

Adıyaman Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi

Adıyaman (Science and Art Centre) has 18 classrooms. The school has 2 Administrators,18 teachers, 4 assistant staff. We have 203 students aged 8-16, but the number of students will increase as we accept new students every year. The school is affiliated to Ministry of National Education General, General Directorate of Guidance Services, Development of Special Abilities. We have English Classroom, Biology, social sciences, Maths, Science, Turkish, Music, Literature, wood workshop, Ceramic workshop, Music Classroom, Drama Classroom, Space workshop, Workshop of intelligent games, Robotic and software workshop, Art of Marble workshop, Origami workshop.
