Escuela Internacional de Doctorado

Our headquarters

The International School of Doctoral Studies (EIDUM) was created on 11 September 2012 (by Decree No. 112/2012 of 7 September of the Governing Board of the Autonomous Region of Murcia).

The EIDUM is organised as an interdisciplinary School aiming to arrange all tuition and activities related to doctoral programmes. Thus, EIDUM plans the necessary offer of cross-functional activities common to all doctoral programmes as part of training in research and contributes this way to achieve key academic and professional knowledge and competences. The School also promotes national and international agreements, programmes and projects and encourages the internationalization and quality of our programmes.

Eidum first director was Dr. Francisco M. Martínez Ortiz, who held this position from the foundation of the School until July 2014. He was followed by Dr. Gregorio Sánchez Gómez, who currently continues to perform his functions as director of the School.
