There are three criteria for scientific paper performance: research productivity, research
impact, and research excellence.
The research productivity. The research productivity evaluates the number of articles of the
last 11 years (ex: 1999-2009) and the number of articles of the current year (ex: 2009). Both of
them weighted 10%, respectively.
The research impact. The research impact evaluates the number of citations of the last 11
years (ex: 1999-2009), the number of citations of the last 2 years (ex: 2008-2009), and the
average number of citations of the last 11 years (ex: 1999-2009). Each of them weighted 10%.
The research excellence. The research excellence evaluates the h-index of the last 2 years (ex:
2008-2009), the number of highly cited papers (ex: 1999-2009), and the number of articles of
the current year in high-impact journals (ex: 2009). Each of them weighted 20%, 15%, and 15%,
respectively.
