On 28th November 2009 took place in Calimera (Lecce) at the Biblioteca Comunale Sala Aldo Moro the cultural workshop Vassilis Margaris, a writer coming from Ioannina, a activity for the dissemination of the Modern Greek Language and Culture organized in the frame of the Odysseus Project.

In the Workshop, Vasilis Margaris Writings were presented and the audience had the opportunity to get in touch with the Greek author. In the meeting took part the Prof. Isabelle Oztasciyan Bernardini d’Arnesano, Scientific Responsible of the Odysseus Project in Lecce, Mauro Martina, Coordinator of the Project, Silvano Palamà, President of the Ghetonia Cultural Association and Ioannis Davilis, President of the Hellenic Community of Brindisi, Lecce and Taranto. The initiative, promoted by the Agenzia per il Patrimonio Culturale Euromediterraneo in collaboration with the Hellenic Community of Brindisi, Lecce and Taranto, was supported by Calimera Municipality in collaboration with the Ghetonia Cultural Association.
