The research group of Physiology of Reproduction is placed at the School
of Veterinary Science and integrated in the Department
of Physiology of the University
of Murcia.
The group has
6 academic staff, several research PhD students and 3 technical staff.
The group started to work on the field
of physiology of reproduction in 1989 and since then the research focuses
on one major area: biotechnology of porcine reproduction, with special
interest in the in vitro fertilisation in pigs and boar semen cryopreservation.
As a result of this work we offer different techniques to other research
or industrial groups.
You can find our last publications.
The research work is combined with teaching
of Animal Physiology to undergraduates as subjects
to achieve their Degrees in Veterinary Medicine. We also offer postgraduate
courses to get the PhD and Master in Biology
and Technology of Reproduction In Mammals.
The group is opened to research offers
or co-operation activities and visits to the Department are welcome.
You can contact with members of the research group by e-mail or post.
