SURVEY ON RE TOOLS
Survey on requirements engineering (RE) tools

Overview

The questionnaire was structured in two parts:

  1. Collaboration and global software development (GSD) in RE tools;
  2. General capabilities in RE tools.

The questionnaire included questions extracted from a new international framework for the evaluation of the requirements engineering tool capabilities, the ISO/IEC TR 24766:2009.

There were 23 questions in the first part and 27 questions in the second part of the survey.

The tools' vendors answered the questionnaire and then a triangulation technique was applied in order to validate the data.
