Flights

There are two airports near to Murcia.

  1. Alicante airport
    2. Alicante airport is located in El Altet (Alicante). It is 60 km aprox. far from Murcia City.
  2. Murcia-San Javier airport
    3. Murcia-San Javier airport is located in San Javier (Murcia). It is 70 km aprox. far from Murcia City.

Transportation from airports to Murcia City

  1. From Alicante airport.

    1. Bus transportation
      2. There is a regular bus every 2 hours opperated by Alsa from 7.15 hrs. until 20.15 hrs.
      Price is 4.56€ for single tryp and 8.21€ for round tryp.

      3. The taxi stop is located at the airport exit.

  2. From Murcia-San Javier airport

    1. Bus transportation.
      2. There is not direct transportation from the airport to Murcia City. One should first go to Santiago de la Ribera, and then to Murcia.
      Timetable: buses depart from airport at 13.25, 16.30 y 19.00 hrs.

Train

There are trains from most spanish cities to Murcia City. The Murcia train station is called "Estación del Carmen". Timetables are available in RENFE webpage.
